Position:Home>Dancing> Is anyone actually using the Ballet Bible... for $47 is it worth it?

Question:I think going to class, rehearsal, and practicing is the best thing you can do to improve yourself in ballet. All great dancers out a good teacher will show you the ropes, if you're gonna use a book as a guide, I don't think it should be the ballet bible, I've seen it before and I think it's very gimmicky and one of those "quick-fix" kinda books. I suggest you get "Suki Schorer On The Balanchine Technique" by Suki Schorer and Russell Lee, it's really good but it's still only a guide. Going to class is your best option.
