Question:I need to impove my turns and pirouettes etc. but my spooting sucks! i need major help any suggestions?
Also i need to drasticlly improve my left leg's flexibility. my right leg is amazing though...what can i do?

Spotting is easy when you can pick a object, and look at it, then when you flip your head back around, focus on the same object as before.

It works like a charm.
Or use a corner.
When in your dance class, Focus on the corner of the room, then when you turn, flip your head back around and focus on the corner again.

IT also helps you from becoming dizzy! That's a bonus.

It's leg lifts from a pleya standing position, and you lift your leg up without bending it.

Try sporting therapy

When you turn, pick something easy to spot and make sure you really see it once or twice (single or double turn). I have had problems with spotting, and the thing that really helped me was sitting on a spinning chair or stool and spotting my door over and over. It helps you get used to the sensation of turning and spotting. As for your flexibility, the only thing I can say is to warm up and stretch for 15-20 mins every night. Never stretch cold because you could pull something or hurt yourself. You will also be able to stretch farther if you're warmed up.

1. stretch ur left leg more...dont worry about ur right leg as much...but, make sure you keep stretching tht leg too because you dont want to lose your flexibility in that leg

2.spotting-find something on a wall( not down low because you will fall over) make it about eye level...then, stare at it and when you can't see it then turn ur head the other way and just try to keep ur eye on it
