Hi honey, I'm a fitter in a dance shop. Actually, the length of the shoe is most likely too short. Because of the small amount of give to the shank fo a point shoe, it doesn;t spare much room. If it pops off when you go up, its too short and you need to try another half size up, but also remember, it will affect the width of your new pair as well. Shoes that are too big will pop off as you stand flat. Not even pop off, just kind fo pool around the heel fo your foot.

you know point shoes have to fit perfectly, i dont think there is much you can do, maybe buy a heel spacer from a dance catalogue, but I would consider buying a different point shoe, what is the brand?

Get a smaller size, it might squeeze ur feet though, ust go somewhere and try to see if they will let u try differnt sizes...

I would recommend getting a new pair of shoes. These werer probably no good quality.

Buy new ones

ribbons.

Did you tighten the drawstring? Did you have ribbons on them that you tied correctly? If you did, then you probably want to go down a size. Go somewhere where they have good pointe shoe fitters. That makes ALL the difference.

if the fittings not the problem, then you can try sewing a little loop of elastic onto the back of your shoes and pull your ribbons through the loop. that might help keep it up.
