When I couldn't find a ballet tutor in my area, I searched online and came across a multimedia kit called Ballet Bible. It's an A-Z resource of ballet techniques, postures, exercises and more, with videos and in-depth instruction.

It was an amazingly useful resource during my learning days and I still recommend it to anyone (beginner to advanced) learning ballet. It's as important to the art of dance as your pointe shoes.
