you should go out and have fun. do what you feel like and what your heart and soul ask of you to do. if you feel joy and happiness when you dance, then dance. i like, no love, dancing. it's a way to let out your energy in a nonviolent way and it takes off your mind from the world around you and all the problems that you may be going through. so when you're out there on the dancing floor, be yourself and dance your heart out if you need to. don't worry about the people around you and if they want to hate, let them hate! good luck and have fun!!!!!!! :)

You just need to go ahead and start a class. If you're really good at something you shouldn't be afraid to show it, you should be happy you're so good at something! Don't let anyone watching you put you off, they're just looking because you're so good! It's not a bad thing.
It might be difficult at first but you'll get used to it and be happy showing of what a good dancer you are (:
You wouldn't want to miss an opportunity because of something like this would you? Good luck! xx

just forget everyone around you and dance for you
you should feel liked you are being judged
you are doing it for you because you enjoy it and it a part of you!
so just forget them
you know you are a good dancer and they dont need to approve of you!
they are looking at you and i bet they are wishin they were as good a dancer as you!
=]

you need to break that barrier and do it.. if you have confidence stand out and show them what u got if u want people think u have confidence u have to have confidence the person who is feared the most in the room is the person who show NO fear

to dance is to live..

You are young and it is normal to be self-conscious. It is most difficult to dance in front of a few people, or when you are one a a few dancers on the floor. Wait until the floor is full of dancers, and then, when you dance, just listen to the music and enjoy moving to it. Taking dance classes to learn new moves is great and it will improve your confidence. I felt the same way as you did when I started to dance in social situations. But, I finally stopped worrying about what others thought and enjoyed moving to the music.
