Whats an idea for asking someone to sadies?(it's a highschool dance)?

Question:You could ask the school office if you could use the intercom, and then ask the person to go with you to the dance during school anouncements or something like that. I think that that would be cute! :)

It depends on if they are a good friend of yours.

The hardest part is to approach who you want to invite, but take a deep breath and walk straight to him/her, and if someone happens to interrupt at the precise moment you are about to ask. . .
Say can I ask you a quick question (do not walk away. . . it looks worse)
Then with a straight face say, are you going to the dance? If the answer is yes, ask:
Has anyone asked you yet, because I am asking you to come with me?
If he/she says no, don't look disappointed, ask if he/she knows who doesn't have a date yet?
Yeah, you will never look bad if you do this, for you are covering all the bases.
