Why do djs wear headset while dey r playin songs?

Question:It helps them hear what they are playing/mixing. Just like if your singing in front of a loud crowd with large speakers, wearing a headset helps you hear yourself. This helps them hear the music at the volume they want.

well they r close to the speapers so the headset helps them control the volume^_^

because whan the voice comes from speakers its vibration increses so they wear headphone so that they can lisen clearly .

i always thought it was so they could preview the mixes and songs to make sure they will sound good before they come on.

because they fade in another song most of the time and they listen to the song they want to play while the current song is playing, its easy to mix or fade in with the beat with out having to wait for the song to end.
