Question:Every pair of pointe shoes i get twists i have a new pair in a new brand and style that i've never tried before. Is there a certain way i can sew them to help to ensure that they won't twist, because i can tell right now rolling up without ribbons that they are.

Thankyou :)

Hey! Do you mean that the shank is twisting away from your foot or that the box is twisting away from your toes? If so, try sewing your elastic tighter or doing double elastic in the X shape. This helps hold the shoe on your foot better. I hope that this helps! Please check out my questions about a lyrical solo, I really need help!

im not really understanding what is "twisting"
if its your ribbon that is twisting than i can't really
help you with that but if its something else could you
please add some more details.

Hey, its probably a combination of an ill-fitting toe pad, and not using the right elastic for you. I agree, try the X. Also, shoes with a too hard shank will do that, as well ones with an inappropriate rise to the heel
