The aspiration is a beginner shoe, so they are not ment to last long. You should go to your local dancewear store that offers professional shoe fittings and have them address your problems. There is a "best shoe" for every foot, and you should try on some options to see what works best for your feet. I carry 20 styles of pointe shoes in my store, and if 20 girls come in, there is a best for each. Good luck!

i have the same problem, also some are just so hard to break in. bloch and capezio (thats what i have) are so "stiff" at first but then whats there broken in start to get floppy lol i can't support myself that easily anymore.

but i would suggest (this is what im gonna do) is go to your local dance store, and just list of shoes, gaynor minden, sansha, capezio, freed, ect. and try them on and see what fits your feet best. good luck!

I agree with dancefloordisaster, you have to go and get re-fitted to be sure. But, I would suggest if you have long, narrow feet to get the Grishko Proflex. If you have a wide foot, try any of the other Grishko products. Good luck!

i really dont know, but can u answer my question

I have aspirations now, and they are just fine for me. They have lasted 6 months. Every foot is different. For example I had some Capizios that lasted me 3 weeks. The same shoe lasted my dance mate a year and half. It really differs by foot. Keep on trying different brands and eventually you'll find your shoe! Good luck and happy dancing!

well, i'm not on pointe yet- i'm in pre-pointe so i can't say from personal experience, but most of the girls at my studio use Russian Pointe. One of the proffesionals from our summer program likes Capezios and my good friend likes Grishko. I don't know anyone who uses Gaynor Minden or Sansha for pointe.
