Hello! I live in Oklahoma too! I have been a dancer for 10 years and i was researching about dance education. http://www.camd.ucok.edu/tdma/tdma_dance... For UCO, you can take dance for a Bachelor's Degree and if you click under the section EVENTS, it talks about the dance program. Hope this helps!:))

maybe you should choose a school that actually has the program listed on the application. does the school even offer a degree in dance education?

Just because they have a dance program does not mean that dance is available as a major. They might not HAVE a dance education major at the school. Maybe you should try looking at other schools that have it listed.

You weren't looking in the right place, apparently. The University of Central Oklahoma DOES offer a BFA in Dance Education through their Department of Theatre, Dance and Media Arts. Here is the link:

It looks as though you have to audition for admission into the program, but the audition link appears to have last year's info. Be sure to contact the department, directly, so you know how to enroll.
