Position:Home>Dancing> Would you 'Belly Dance' if you could?

Question:I can and I do. I just performed a Saidi double-cane routine this evening. I love it, and have no plans to stop any time soon. It's great since anyone, any size, shape, or age can do it. I know dancers in their 60's who are still dancing.

Yes, why not? Belly Dancing is now one of the more popular forms of dance-exercises taught in gyms and fitness classes. It has become as popular as aerobics and taebo classes and many female fitness experts have come out with dvds of belly dancing basics. It provides one with a great workout, particularly for abs strengthening and development.

I go every week to belly dancing and have even stood up on a stage and danced in front of 200 people. I love it and it is very good for toning muscles and much more technical than you think it is.
