Have you considered tap classes? If you do/going to start hardshoe it will really improve it. I have a few friends that have gone from tap to irish and they said that by doing tap before it really helped them.

Just by doing 2 hours of tap a week myself, I can pick up hardshoe routines off my friends very easily :)

Contemporary is an excellent style of dance. It's a lot more relaxed and you can show emotion through it. It might take you awhile to learn to be able to use your arms though (as your arms are always by yourside) but its still very fun!

As I live in Australia, I can't recommend any dance studios to you. But most schools will do beginner classes.

Hope this helps :)

ps. I'm 14 too ;D
