Question:i love them both but i can never find out the differance , so i don't know which i prefer :)

Mambo is stricter, and it is always danced on 2. Salsa can be danced on 1 or on 2 and it has many different forms (NY Salsa, LA salsa and so on). Some styles of salsa are so close to mambo that you can hardly tell the difference.
