Contemporay- I love jazz too but I just love the emotion and passion that goes into contemporary. I love being able to take the emotion and the meaning of the lyrics and expressing it. But if it is you it really depends on your personality and what you think would be better for you. That is just my opinion. Maybe if you can only do one you could try both classes and see what you like more.

Jazz is more fun and classy. Contemporary is cheesy and vulgar

Contemporary for sure. I love jazz but there is something about the movement of contemporary that just pulls me towards it over jazz. I like the "no rules" and moving as though you are really expressing your true emotions. Jazz for me is too scripted if that makes sense. Even when I'm watching someone dance modern or contemporary, I feel the emotion of the song and dance much more than jazz.

i would say contemprory it is sooo cool i luv it and it is fun & you can relax contempory is best

Jazz all the way! Jazz is like a combination of ballet and tap, yet it has its own unique, classy style. Jazz is so much fun and entertaining! Jazz is definitely my favorite kind of dance!

Contemprory !.. its more emotional .. and it kinda tells a story !

jazz can be fun and classy but sometimes it can include a little bit of broadway and can be really cheesy and cutesy. but i would choose contemporary. its about your movement and the way your movement flows and you can really dance your heart out and express your emotions through contemporary.

JAZZ cuz it's fun :P
