What pointe shoe is better?

personally gaynor mindon are better...it all depends on which fits your foot properly

if your a beginner, get capezio, if you've been en pointe for a bit, gaynor mindon is easier to break in. capezio is really hard to but like i said, it all depends on which fits better...

oh and i would like to add that some gaynor mindon don't really break in very well...so capezio might be better

Ive had both and id say go with the capezio.

I personally like Capezio but you need to choose what is comfortable.

I believe that capizeos are better, and so does my mother, once a proffessional dancer herself. Gaynor Mindons dont let you work through your feet and do not make feet loook pretty except for gillian murphy but for most this is not the case. i strongly suggest capizeo they have a bigger variety for your type of foot shape rather than how long you wont the shoe to last .

Whatever you do- don't get fitted without looking at lots of possibilities. Between the two, I'd go with capezio, because Gaynor Minden's don't help strengthen feet at all and in my opinion if you have a lower arch they're just downright dangerous. Capezio's been around for a while and although they're not my favorite, I hear they're nice shoes.

Noooooooooooooo! Look,fitting pointe shoes put me through grad school, and you can't just pick a style and order it. There are very few similarities between these two brands, and you need to have a professional fitting. There are TONS of factors that go into finding the right shoe for a dancer. Please go to a local dance shoppe and get fitted. The price difference alone is astronomical.
