Question:My favorite movie of all time is Dirty Dancing and I love the end dance they do. So for my party me and my boyfriend where going to copy the dance ruitine to wow my friends hopefully? I really just want to learn it and do the best I can. My boyfriend said he would do it but isnt that into doing it, I think he is afraid of messing up in front of my friends and he knows it will be alot of work to learn.

So what I want to know is how can we learn this and pull it off. How can I get my boyfriend to get into this cause I know once he does he will like it. Any tips on learning the dance has anone done this before?

This is the video we are watching along with the original:

That's a great idea!!! I'm glad you love that movie so much. The best thing to do is to learn it while watching the dance - (I mean, play the video, watch it, and try to do the moves.) I know you will be playing the video over and over again. I did a tap solo to Singin' In the Rain and I learned the moves by doing this trick. It works well and I learned it very fast. Watching something repetitively helps, sooner or later you'll know that dance inside and out. Best of luck!! Have fun with it!
