Should i go to my school dance?

Question:ok my school dance is comeing up and it is the first one of the year and it is my first boy girl dance with out any parents and i dont know if i should go or not also all of my friends are going with dates what should i do????

You should defiantly go. you'll never know if it'll be fun if you don't go. If you go this time, you can see how much fun it is and decide whether you want to go to others. Try finding some friends (boy or girl) that are not going with bf/gf. Because sometimes someone will get too distracted from you by dancing with their bf/gf the whole time. But even if you don't you should try. Most of the time they are great. Lots of people love them. It may take a while to become fun, but be patient and try it! Hope you go and have fun!

It's your life. Do you have a friend that you can hang out with there that will be unattached? If you don't want to go just because you don't care to go to a dance, that's one thing, but if you want to go, then nothing should stop you. See if you can find a good friend that is unattached and interested in going to the dance and hanging out.

I'm not into dances, never was, so it was a no brainer for me.

I didn't go to the dance this year with a date, don't worry about it and just go nuts when you start dancing. I remember back in 7th grade when we had our first dance, I was new to the school so i decided not to go. By 9th grade I got the courage to go and I loved it.

If you don't go you'll look back in 30 years and regret not having a good time while you were young.

go, totally! i didn't go to one of my first dances... and i later regretted it... and don't feel pressured to go with a date... i have only gone to half with a date, and to tell you the truth, i like going single better. you aren't tied to anyone, so you can dance with whoever you want, without having to feel guilty leaving your date sitting for a dance or two. go single, and dance your heart out! even if you aren't the best dancer there, if you are full of enthusiasm, someone will notice you, and you will soon be having a great time! waht a great time to meet and talk to people you haven't been around before!!!!

Go and have fun! You are only young once, enjoy the experience. Find a date if possible. If not, go and have fun with your friends!

Go and have fun! You don't have to bring a date, and who knows, maybe a boy that is there alone will ask you to dance, that's the true purpose of a dance you know.

I graduated last year and i didnt go to any dances at all! You should go now before they all pass you by! you'll regret it later. go for you, its a time to feel like a queen. just relax and have fun with it!
