I have no idea what a "tym" is, but I'm considerably older, and I find that the twenty-somethings, many of whom may be dancing or having chorea attacks (it's often hard to tell) are entertained by us old farts doing, say, a fancy west-coast swing. Older people also tend to limit their alcohol consumption to "buzz" level rather than the "obnoxious" level favored by many of the kiddies.
