I have a pair of Gaynor Minden's right now and I've used them for a while. I actually love them. They have a lot of different options for custom sizes. But the best way to get ones that fit the best are to go to a dance store and get fitted of course. They last a while because they have a plastic compound in the toes rather than cardboard and glue. I have very small feet that have a very high arch, so I found it very hard to find a shoe that would stay on my foot when I was on pointe, because the heel would always fall off. I custom ordered a 3 with the widest width so my foot could sit low in the shoe so it wouldn't be too short standing flat and it would stay on on pointe. I love them. :)

Gaynor Minden has more than 2,900 custom sizes. When I was dancing, I used their shoes. They were much more durable than my former shoes, and also more comfortable. From what you're describing, you would get the widest shoe with the hard shank. Get them, you won't regret it. The only thing is that they're on the higher side in regards to price - I payed around $100.00 for mine.

Good luck! Ballet is awesome.

I've never used Gaynors, but I tried some on and the dancer said that they don't really straighten feet. I have heard though, that they are good shoes and last a long time.Just a little add in too... you didn't mention if you tried Bloch. Their Balance Europeans are built for really wide feet.

I have the same type of foot, and I personally, don't like Gaynors. They are customizable, but they still weren't wide enough for me, and they don't have a fiber carbon shank, so I went through them very quickly. Like, a pair a practice. Also, the draw is on the side, so its very hard to adjust them.
Of course, they may be great for you! I always liked Gambas until ym feet were too wide for even those! You may like a Capezio Contempora or Glisse ES.

gaynor minend are NOT good shoes. they dont require you to work your archa at all. unlike other pointe shoes, gaynor minde can look good on anyone's feet, good arch or not, but they dont work ur feet at all and dont help them improve. most people don't understand this and don;t know this fact but its better for a working and growing student who is still deleloping propper muscles for the right ballet technique to use pointe shoes tht make ur feet work. i mean once ur a soloist or prima ballerina, you can wear whatever u want because ur feet will be nicely deleoped. since you say u have a good arch, you dont have to worry about not looking good in your pointe shoes. my friend has feet similiar to yours and she wears russion pointe. her arches r amazing[i'm so jelous. lol]. you should check them out.
