I like Bloch Aspirations. They last a lot longer than Capizio's did. That's just me though. A girl I dance with had some Capizio's last her a year and a half! How crazy is that!

My favourite kinds are Bloch Serenades, too. Sonatas were okay, but the built in cushion was pinching my foot really hard.

I won't go into what makes a pointe shoe good for a dancer, but I always wore Gamba 93s.

Rusty- is there an echo in here? Rainman?

If you like Bloch Serenades...try Freed. They have a more wide box than sonatas

well , if you have the money go for Gaynor minden all the way , if not , Bloch sylphides are good as well.

Gaynor Mindens are expensive but in my opinion they are so worth it. I've used Bloch, Freed, and Gamba, but I've been using Gaynor Minden shoes for 2 years now and I love them. They have A LOT of custom sizes, so I find that the fit is by far the best.
