Presuming she does dance herself she should approach her teacher to get some time assisting with younger children. This will enable her to help out a Christmas shows etc so she may get some experience to build upon. Depending on the type of dance and syllabus she may be expected to complete teaching certificates in dance. Opening a studio when old enough and with enough experience will mean she will have to choreograph although many teachers, after years of experience, go free lance. She should take the first steps by approaching her own teacher to try and get some experience first.

The best way - as she is young is to go to other peoples classes, my brother is in a well-known dance troupe and thats how he started off and he teaches occasionally btw he is only 13. If she is confident then she should start to get to know people in the bussiness and then people will respect her as a dancer as well as a choreographer.

A choreographer puts the steps and movements together to form new dances. I imagine you have to be a professional dancer for some years prior to becoming a choreographer.

well... im 14 and all i did was looked up dance studios and called them and asked them if they needed any assistance(help) and if they did i'm willing to help. im also a dance freak and i will do anything to teach people so all she needs to do is call different dance studios and ask because until she's liscensed to teach and have gone to school for it then it will be hard.

Depends on what kind of dancing she does...she needs to make a bit of name as a dancer, then she start choreographing dances- if she is good at that she can get people to hire her.
Choreographer is not the same as teacher though. Not all teachers choreograph, not all choreographers teach technique.

I am assuming that she currently dances with a studio so she has some experience with dance. She could talk to her teacher of the studio owner and ask if she could help assist classes. Has she tried to choreograph routines before? Just choreographing to any song randomly will help her get experience. Then when she is older she can go to college and major in dance or dance education and hopefully get a job at a studio. If she wants to be a well known choreographer like mia micheals, wade robinson, dennis caspery, mandy moore, etc then she will have to start out at a studio. Then hopefully someone will notice her choreography and she can work her way up.

Hey lol shes 14? I take 5 classes a week and im 12. But i think she can sttart off by helping teacher with smaller kids first becuase then shes to young.

open your own dance studeo
or go to work for an existing one

find a studio that has teacher helpers and she might make her way up
