You should go and learn from someone. You can see videos on line, but, if you don't learn the timing and how to move to the music, you'll just end up annoying the girls you ask to dance. Very few people can learn by watching. The basics are key!! You don't say where you live, but, you can go to http://www.saocodc.com/worldrueda.cfm and see if there is a salsa group/lessons near you on this page.

by watching others (that KNOW how to dance) and then practicing at home is really good. it might seem cheesy but you got practice in front of a mirror bro. and watch yourself as if YOU were watching someone else who just happens to look like you. In elizabeth they have a good public studio to learn how to dance BUT there is a big glass window facing the main street for everyone to see inside. lol.
