Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: and what style was your first?

I have always taken dancing seriously from day one but when I was your age I didn't think I was good enough for what I wanted to do (my dad didn't support the idea of dance). Then when I worked for Disney, they believed in me and thats when things worked. All it takes to dream is to believein yourself.

15

4 and it was ballet! still doing it 10 years later!

15. It was clogging.... I'm still dancing!

:D

i was three. ballet was my first style, but now i do hiphop and my friends might have finally convinced me to do ballroom dancing!

i was 7 yrs old and the style was ballet. And now 6 yrs later i do all types of dance like hip-hop, ballet ,modern, jazz, lyrical, and pointe. I go to my stuido every day so i can keep practicing and getting better.

8, i started bellet when i was 2 and then 6 years after i loved it and wanted to be better and now im still doing it 11 years later!

this year im 13. and i still love it hahaha

I was 13, I started with jazz and loved it. I've strived to improve ever since.

My first styles were Tap, Jazz & Ballet.

And I probably took it more seriously when my old dance school sold to a more professional dance school (my current school), so about 12.

:)

14. And I had never taken any form of dancing seriously, even less thought of dancing.
I started with hip hop and jazz and have been working on the two since them. :]

alrighty then -- i started dancing when i was 3, and would you believe -- didn't start taking it seriously till i was about 25 years old, at which point i started getting some professional work. i'm well past that age now, but still taking classes. still serious about classes, but not for performance reasons.

so...... you're never too old :-)
