If that's what you want to do go for it!!! I know of girls that have made cheerleading squads in High School with no past experience. I do suggest that if you have friends on a squad you ask for help. All movements need to be sharp, sign up for some hip hop classes at a local dance studio. Practice leaps and, tumbling is sometimes a requirement. They take girls of all sizes ( flyers, base, front and back spots.) Hey you'll never know if you can make it unless you try!!!! Goodluck

Ps remember to always smile

I think you definatly need to practice. There's a lot of dance involved, so if you can take a workshop for dance or cheer that can help.

There are also videos you can buy to practice cheers at home.

Yea, i rekon you could do it if you try really really hard.
Good Luck!

well the better you look, breast, ****, face, figure and hair, the easier it will be (don't think i'm being a pig, this is dead set). As they always take the better looking girl who dances alright over the exceptional dancer who not many guys would crack a fat over. NO JOKES I am not a pig, this is dead set, the 2004 Miss Universe was a cheerleader.

Of course. If you are willing to put in the effort into anything, you can reach it.

If gw bush could grow up to become a cheerleader, anyone can.

Go for it. Try out.

But I don't think ANYONE can be a cheerleader.
As a 45 year old overweight male, I doubt I could become a cheerleader. No matter how much I practice.

You know if you want to be a cheerleader always trusts yourself, you don't have any dance experience but if you are practice and practice you can make it.
"We dance for laughter, we dance for tears, we dance for madness, we dance for fears, we dance for hopes, we dance for screams, we are the dancers, we create the dreams."

"You can dance anywhere, even if only in your heart." "GOOD LUCK"...

What does cheerleading have to do with dancing?
