I went as a male stripper once, and got no candy!! Just lots of dirty looks, and a few offers for tricks!!

NOT a belly dancer. It perpetuates the myth that belly dancers are strippers, which they are not. It's too cliche, since many non belly dancers think that they automatically look like a stripper merely by donning a belly dance outfit. Sorry that isn't much help though. Perhaps something like an old-time burlesque performer, maybe with a large fan.
