How do you ask a girl to dance?

Question:Well, I am a girl and the way I like it when I am asked to dance.
Here are some approaches:
1. Come up and compliment the girl on something(I like your hair, that is a pretty braclet/neklace you have) Once she has thanked you, or said something back, casually ask her "Would you like to dance"
2. Walk up to a girl and introduce yourself, and say Hello. Try to start a conversation, and on a song you feel comfortable dancing to, Say 'Hey, I love this song, wanna dance?"
3. If you are very brave, walk up to a girl and say "Would you like to dance with me?"

If these doesn't work then it may not be the right person, but i am almost 100% sure it will. Those are the most polite, sweet, and best ways to ask a girl to dance.

Well, to me, I just always thought it was a lot easier when the guy just said, "Wanna dance with me?" than when they played games. That way, it's a lot easier to say no (in my opinion) and a lot less embarrassing to say yes.

well for wimps like you u just skip it but otherwise like strong good men like u you should just ask her!!~

keep it simple:
just go up to a girl and say, hi/hey (her name here)would you like to dance
or hey ya wanna dance
and if she does to u down, dont mope about it or ask y (that will get her flusterd and annoyed)
hint:
if she's avoiding eye contact at all costs, or moving away from u, dont ask her
