12 year old ballet classes ????

Question:Hi . could anyone tell me what class such as preprimary , primary , grade 1 etc a 12 year old would start ballet in . Small begginners experience , but nothing major .

maybe an I.S.T.D grade 3 or 4 that is what grade i started in when i started when i was 12. but go along and ask about classes and most places offer taster sessions before you sign up for a grade so just experiment what class you think feels right. good luck it should be no problem

You should contact a couple of ballet schools in your area. They will advise you on which class is appropriate.

sometimes places like the YMCA or your local gym teaches basic ballet technique. once you've mastered that, you can go to take classes at your local ballet school, or if you want you can start classes at ballet school, but probably you might have some classmates that are younger than you

I would say about......... ummmm like 5-6 or maybe even but if you really want to take the class go right a head!

it depends on the studio. the studio i have goes by color. talk to the studio. u may not even b under one of those categories since u have never danced before. u really gotta call the studio and ask.

Are you talking about exam classes?

I think you would be a Grade 3/4 RAD

at my ballet school u would probley be in grade 4/5 we don't worrie with the exprance coz we have a person there named tiffany(she went to the australian ballet school and everything)she would stay with u to help u get the steps
