Modern salsa music for wedding????

Question:my fiance and i are thinking of doing the salsa for our first dance :) can you suggest modern songs that are not so latin but we can dance the salsa to? it should also have a nice love "message" since it's going to be our first dance as a couple. thanks!

I think you should try "Tu Amor Me Hace Bien" by Marc Anthony. It is beautiful and not too fast. I think it would be beautiful to dance a first dance to that song.

Tito Nieves made these songs - a few of them love songs - and set them to salsa. One of them might work well for your wedding. "I'll Always Love you" is nice.

You can pick any music that is not to slow or to fast and it's going to be a little wird to dance salsa on your first dance but i have been thinking to do that on mine to.

Im not sure where you could find these songs from but maybe try "esnips.com"

try looking at soundtracks for newer dance movies... there are many that have come out w/in the past couple years (like Take the Lead, or Step Up). maybe you can get some good ideas there?? have fun!

check the 'rock the boat' salsa version by 'Carlos Oliva y los sobrinos del juez'--not so latin, but I don't know about the love message. Other way, Lenny Kravitz has a salsa song--no joke. My salsa 'on 2' instructor played it to the class once. I don't know what his lirics talked about, for I was in disbelief the whole time I heard it--but there you go that wasn't so latin.
