It would be easier to answer if you had told us where you will be going. The first thing to do is to get a feel for your local bellydance community. Find out who the top name dancers are in your area. Once you find out try signing up for the intermediate and/or advanced courses and take a session or two from them. In this time you should explain that you want to dance professionally and ask them to help you achieve that goal. Most teachers will do what they can to help you polish your technique and stage presence (a few teachers are only interested in making themsleves seem almighty in their community and are threatened by competition). With the help of your instructor you will make sure that you are ready for the american stage. Not that your training in Korea is not adequate but American audiences may expect different things than korean audiences and your teacher will hopefully be able to help you prepare for that appropriately. Depending on how large your community is there may be one or more troupes that perform in your area. If your instructor has a troupe you may want to inquire about joining it. This will give you performance experience in the US as well as help you to make connections with other professionals. Some area have local guilds and other organizations that dancers are encouraged to join. These organizations help control wages and also help find performance opportunities for you. You will need to advertise yourself eventually to get business. A personal website about you as a bellydancer along with your performance schedule fees contact info etc... can draw up a lot of business. If your still not getting business try making flyers and go to all the middle eastern restaurants/deli's/groceries in the area and ask first if they hire dancers for anything (if they do give them your business card). If they don't ask if you can leave a few flyers around or tape one in the window. Some owners will say no while others will say no problem. Of course eventually if your a decent dancer people will hear about you by word of mouth as well.

yes, get into a service which will provide you a sponsor.
nice english by the way.

Wow! You are in for some interesting answers!!!

I had no idea there was such a thing as professional bellydancer. I think you might want to find a professional company, then either teach, or tour. Good luck!
