Can you jive??

Question:Yes I can, but I get a bit out of breath now adays, I loved to twist, jive and, waltz, tango, and quickstep too, dancing when I was a lot younger was my life.... You used to meet great talent at the ' jiggin' when I was in my teens.
Then when I joined the forces we used to love showing off in the NAFFI dancing to the juke-box.
But the best to jive to was the 'Big Band Sound' when I was stationed in North Africa (Tripoli) we used to got out to the American Air Base, and bop with the american G I's, it was absolutely great!!

Yes. And I can do the twist, the slop, the mashed potato too.
It's just at my age, waltz and slow foxtrot are more dignified.

I am now 76 and no I can't now..... But you should have seen me go on a Saturday night at the Town Hall dance in the early 1950's... Called me twinkle toes..... Used to jive to big band swing, modern jaz and he pop stuff of the era,,, Then skiffle and then came early rock, Bill Hayley sort of stuff.. Buddy Holly and the rest... OOO whop bop a loo bop a bop bam boo ... Got me going there...
