Hi!! First of all congratulations on this honor. Second, do you take dance classes? Third, do you take jazz dance classes?

Listen to the music that you need to make the jazz dance to and keep on listening to it. This piece of music probably has a character and a personality to it. Little by little you will think of steps and combinations that will go together.

The fourth question I wanted to ask is there a teacher who is also helping out with the choreography? There should be a teacher that could be a helping hand for you.

Congratulations and Best of Luck to you. You will do the best that you can.

Well try these:
-jazz square
-pod ed bourre
-leaps
-turns (pirrouets, fuettes)
-sharp head and arm movement
-battmetts (kicks)

I wish you the best of luck, but I think you have a monumental task ahead of you that should probably fall to an adult choreographer. Someone can't just give you dance steps without knowing the name of the musical, thennames of the songs, the number of beats in each dance break, etc. etc. etc! Isn't there a teacher or cheerleading coach who can take some of the responsibility off you and make you a "dance captain"? (someone who's responsible for making sure the dancers get it right when the choreographer isn't at rehearsals)
