Did you ever get in trouble for making fun of a intellectually disabled person?

Question:When my brother was a freshman in high school, he made a comment to his teacher.He said." That's retarded" His teachers son is mentally handicapped and my brother got suspended for 3 days from school.He didn't realize that that kind of a statement would be so offending to someone else .When he went back to school he told the teacher how sorry he was and he has regretted it ever since.

if you mean someone with like downs or who is autistic no. my uncle was and he was my favorite family member. Not a lot of people know how awesome the mentally disabled can be to hang out with. I have been the one to yell at and even beat up for making fun of people like that.

Do you mean AN intellectually disable person? I would never point out or make fun of someone else's shortcomings, even if they aren't at all dance related.
