Question:exercises to make them higher?!?!?!?!?!??!?!

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: exercises to make them higher?!?!?!?!?!??!?!
Extensions start with flexibility, so make sure you can do a split and straddle (along with a roll through and reverse). Just do some on-leg barre stretches. You have to be limber and stretchable.

Next, try doing grande battemants and not arching your back in the front, keeping your hips square al es segon, (sp?) and don't arch backward too much to derriere. Do penchees (sp?) as much as possible and just practice. Get comfortable with your postures and poise.

Lastly, be patient! Good extensions take time if they're not natural. Sometimes as much as 6 months for one extension. Make sure once you have them, you work to keep them. You can lose extension. surely.

do grand botmas (however you spell it)
batmas and do lots of strechting at the bar.. and just keep practicing. get those leg muscles niiice.
if you put your foot up against a wall and as high as you can get it then stretch forward. or you can do lots of ponches or lunges.just keep stretching!
stretch first... butterflys, splits, and jumps then...
At the barre...
1. bring your leg up into pase and then slowly bring it out straight (do this to the front, side, and back on both sides)
2. also do grand battments (front, side, and back on both sides)
3. lift you leg up high to the front and slowly bring it to the side, then bring it back (don't drop your leg while doing it), then reverce it (do it on both sides)
