Lots of fiber and protein. You need a lot of energy because you will easily get run down. Salads before you start in on lunch in dinner. Water, all the time, even when you are not thirsty. When you are thirsty, that means you have already dehydrated yourself. So drink plenty of water (it also stops the snacking!).

Ever notice how ballroom dancers have such great tone? Dieting is great, but to really look like one, you need muscle definition. Crunches, planks, and twist-sit ups are great for your core, and the "superman" pose on the floor is great for your back. The center of your body is the most important. Running and walking every other day is great, too. Light weights about 5 lbs can help with toning of the shoulder and arms.
