How to make a dance routine?

Question:i want to make a dance routine for the song "apologize" by one republic. i want it to be a mix between contemporary and freestlye breakdancing (no spinneronni)..... it has to be between easy and middle, and look cool...... i just need tips (match words, match emotion) the theme for the dance is "begging v. rejection"

oh wow. i was actually starting off a dance to that song too! :) great choice. well since its a pretty slow song. breakdancing might not be the number 1 choice. i was doing a lyrical freestyle dance. just make sure that the moves arent to rough looking and more soft, sway looking
