Why do people consider grinding(dancing) as $e.x with clothes on just wondering?

Also why do some people call it sandwich dancing mainly talking toward the older scene of people i heard it on the news when they were talking about a teen night club.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: it really isnt dancing but some call it dancing cuz i guess ur moving to the rhythm of the music and doing what you body feels. i wouldnt really call it dancing but a type of movement that people do when certian son gs come on.
and they call it sandwhich becuz most of the time it involves 3 people all against each other thus forming the idea of being a sandwhich...see wat i mean?
but yea lot of teens do it and at times it can b really fun
u shud try it Because the movements are highly sexualized and tend not to involve a lot of preparation and skill as you might see in various ballroom styles that can be erotic.

I think the sandwich dancing phrase came from a person being between two others, or sandwiched.

It seems most people grow out of liking this style of dancing pretty quickly. because people cant dance and thats all they can do and i also think grinding could be considered a dance if people can stay on the beat.... and sandwich type of dancin pretty much 3 people like one girl in the front another in the back and a guy in da middle
