Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: It was "99 Red Balloons" by the German band Nena, a Top 40 hit from the mid-80s. The German version of the song "99 Luftballons" got a lot of radio airplay, as well.

Regarding Charles Schwab, I guess it's just their little slogan to try to make them cool...Chuck being the nickname for Charles.
