Question:

What are some ways of approaching ladies at the club, especially when they are in groups...?

I am not a shy guy but the initial ice breaker is what i am having difficulty with.

i don't want lame pick up lines and i know the best pick up line is "Hi, i am mike." I guess what i am more interested is how do you approach a group of girls without harassing/annoying them...

my intentions are to make some new friends or find someone to dance with...

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I think you've already got the best line .. hi, I'm Mike, would you like to dance?

The thing is, girls are going to read you on the subtleties, not exactly on what you say .. do you carry yourself with confidence? are your shoulders slumped and meek? do you appear cocky? are you attractive to them? is your appearance neat but casual? sloppy? metrosexual?

And, there are all the things you don't know .. why are they there? to have a good time? to celebrate a special occasion? are they on a girls night out and all but one has a boyfriend/husband? It can honestly get quite tricky .. your best bet is to ask, and if they say no reply with a simple, no problem, nice to meet you and walk away smiling.

If you get a dance, then enjoy yourself. Ask about her and you'll probably get some clues on how to proceed. Just look for clues she's interested in sticking around or not .. if she runs back to her friends, it probably isn't a good idea to follow unless invited along. Try.. "hey..what's your name" hello,

would you mind if i buy you a drink ? watch the pick up artist.

but when you open a "set" try using something like
did you see the fight outside? or ive got this friend who made out with a girl, would you consider that cheating on the guy? go up, Hey, Nod your head up if you get that, & then say Whatssup. & she'll take it from there. I don't know but would like to no myself, you shall have a star.
