I can do my left and right splits-does this mean that I can do middle splits?


I am finding it so hard, it wasn't nearly as hard as this was when I was learning my R and L.


Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Yeah, when doing your middle you use a completely diffrent set of muscles. I have Always had my R and L and found it hard to get middles. Do what you did to get your R and L. Sit in your middle and hold them! But of course dont force yourself. Try doing the "gravity" strech i think it is called. You put your butt up against the wall and lay on your back and have your legs up in the air, then let them fall to your middle splits and have some one (or do it you self) press down on your legs. Whole different set of muscles, kid.

Good luck wouldnt hurt to try. I cant do it, but maybe I can if i do it daily (which i dont, lol). Yes, you can. Just keep trying. The world is a better place because of girls like you. are you serious all you have to do is try if you can do both sides you must be pretty flexible. Nope, they are completely different muscles....and are harder to stretch. Try stretches like laying on your stomach, bending your knees and putting you feet together while trying to get your feet to the ground. Another is to just sit on your butt and put your feet together and try to touch your toes. Or just stay in the middle position while reaching forward with your hands. no its doesnt i can do all 3 only from exercising and pracsting and warmmg my muscles and im a big girl well middle ish lol ha ha first time ive sed that lol so it doesnt matter it depends

practise and try to do it every nite and use pillows to help u stay up then take one away every time u do it and u will find u shall be doind it in a few days time lol good luck and dont over do it Some girls hips are algined so that they cant do a middle split, im the same way, i can't do a full split to the middle, but can do my other splits. But maybe if you keep on stretching you can get there. But if u can get close, maybe that's as far as you can go! its a whole different way to stretch your muscles. howveer, it is generally more common to get your good side split and your middle before getting your weak side. i understand though, i got right and left way before my middle. the best thing you can do it really work on stretching your hip flexors. Different muscles being streched different ways. If you really want it stretch every night before bed and when you wake up in the morning and even sometimes while watching tv. For watching TV sit in a strattle and roll over your legs forward so you are resting on you elbows and almost sitting on your your legs. This uses gravity to pull you down into a split. Also try sitting facing a wall and pulling your self into it or having someone push you into it with your legs again in a stratle. Hold for about 15, working up to 30 sec. to a minute. Soon you will be able to do every amount of time! Just keep working on it! GOOD LUCK!
