Question:

Any tips you can give a 15-yr-old trying to be a dancer??

I've been doing tap for five years, but i don't have much stamina, endurance, I'm working on flexibility though.
I want to learn Ballet, Jazz, Tap, and Irish... any tips you can contribute?

My form of accomplishment is just being on the stage. I don't need the full spotligh, or even some of it. (No, I don't wanna be a stage manager either lol).

Any tips of a forming dancer?

Oh, sorry. I've been taking tap for about 5 years now.

I know "just being on stage" isn't very big, I would love to be in the limelight!!! Truly! But for now.. let's take one step at a time, shall we??

I know "just being on stage" isn't very big, I would love to be in the limelight!!! Truly! But for now.. let's take one step at a time, shall we?? you just have to go for it with all that you are. ignore anyone who tries to tell you youre not good enough and never look back, its about believing you can coz its better to try and fail then to fail to try. the other person was right, youre not wanting enough out of yourself, dont just want to be the best in your class, the best in your town or your country, want to be the best in the world, then you will get somewhere. Umm, try finding someone in your community who's good at dancing and ask them to practice with you. It sounds as if you don't want enough. Are you sure you are being honest? Maybe you should raise your sights a bit...Meanwhile, don't be discouraged by that downer who calls you Twinkletoes..Go for it. And good luck. Oh, and concentrate on the ballroom dancing.
