What kind of results do i get if i practice Pilates Monday/wednesay,Ballet Tuesday/thursday and yoga Friday's?


Is that routine worth to achieve perfect results in different Dance techniques?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: That schedule is great for achieving wonderful general fitness results, but only more instruction in dance will produce better results in that particular dance technique.

If by "perfect" you mean being able to be professional in a particular dance style, then you should know that high school aged dancers need to be taking dance CLASSES at least 12 - 15 hours a week, not counting rehearsals. That means at least 12 hours of classes in 9th grade and 15 by 12th grade. Rehearsals and practicing at home are on top of that. Pre-professional ballet students at the top academies take even more hours of dance per week, but few of them go to regular schools. that's alot...but hey...I dont know much about a dancer's routine so...

but it still seems like alot cause you dont leave time for your muscles to rest omg that is alot, but if you are able for it great, you will be well toned, and have a great figure. best of luck. Very few, if any, achieve perfect results in anything. You won't know the results until you have maintained this routine long enough to see results. Since everyone's exercise/dance routines are different, and everyone achieves varying degrees of results at various stages; then I don't think anyone can tell what results you will get. I can, however, tell you the result I would expect for myself...fatigue. Pilates will help in stretching and giving you grace in movement. I sent away for a video for pilates and use it three times a week. It gives me better balance and fluidity. I'm 70 yrs old and if pilates can do that for me, imagine what it can do for a young person. Your ambition is admirable but a word of warning- overkill, meaning overstretching, overdancing, overconditioning can actually tear holes in muscle tissue. This routine can leave you vulnerable to sprains and tears as it might not be able to protect your bones as well. Please consult with a professional physical therapist before starting this regimen WOW that is a lot, but if you think you cna handle it and you have enough "you" time then full steam ahead! If your muscles are feeling overworked, then maybe lay off a class. I really dont think you need to do yoga to help with dance, but whatever works... It hink you will get pretty swell results but remember PERFECT PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT so make sure ur doing everthing right
