How did u Learn 2 DANCE?

I'm too shy to go into a class to learn how to dance,

but i try to watch videos/ music videos and try to immitate them...

Do other people learn like that too? ^

and whats it like to be in a dance class?
(hiphop/urban/ dance)
do they teach u step by step?

I went to a hip hop class and the instructor did teach us step by step and with levels (slow-moderate-fast) All dance classes are different though!
