Is there such thing as New Zealand dancing?(Read inside)?

I'm about to take this dance class and on the desription it said it teached Tahitian, belly dancing, and New Zealand dancing. does that sound stupid or what? is there really such thing as New Zealand dance and what's it like. plz dont say i made this up cause i didnt and i wanna know about it.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: It does sound kinda silly, "New Zealand dancing." There is a traditional dance from New Zealand is called the haka. As far as I know, the haka is a ceremonial dance that has something to do with scaring away bad spirits [usu. performed at the beginning of a game of rugby]. That's the closest thing I can think of to New Zealand dancing.
