How do u do the splits?

we have to know how to do the splits in dance team and i need tolearn how in 5 days! someone help!!


Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Unless your already really, REALLY flexible with your legs, I don't think it's possible to be able to do the splits in that short a time. There are certain stretches that you can do.
I dunno what the stretch is called though, but here's how to do one stretch that will help.

1. Bend your right or left leg in front of you on the floor. Your leg should be flat on the floor.
2. Your other leg should go straight back. Don't let it move out on the side, keep it kind of under you. Like if that leg was in the position of doing the splits.
3. You can do that with both legs. But not at the same time!

If you want the other splits here's a different stretch.

1. Having a partner is easier. Both of you sit on floor with legs spread open.
2. Your partner's legs should be against your ankle or other part of leg. Grab each others hands, or wrists, and your partner should pull you forward until you can't go farther. It's okay for either or both of you to touch the ground as long as your legs feel, you know, streched?
