Question:

I am 11 and i was just asking is it too late to start a ballet career ?

I really want to become a balley dancer but i'm afraid its too late, people normally start about 4 but i want to go to the royal school of ballet in london...HELP !!!!

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: It's never too late to try. Sir Robert Helpmann, one of the greatest dancer/choreographers of the 1950's/60's, didn't take his first ballet lesson until he was 21!! If you'd like to see some of his work, he played the Child-Catcher in 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang' and the Mad Hatter in 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland' (with Fiona Fullterton as Alice). He also plays all four villains in the film version of 'The Tales of Hoffman' (though someone else does his singing) and as Mischa in 'The Red Shoes'. Check IMDb.com for more information and availability on video/dvd.

Good luck!!
