New ballet teacher old dream?

New ballet teacher old dream?

i have quit with one ballet teacher and once christmas break is over i'm starting with this new lady in town who use to do the coroagraphy for a nice dance company. my old teacher and my mom (who took ballet through out her school days) says i have a naturall ballet talent. i LOVE ballet, i live it, breath it, eat it, hear it, etc. anyway, i've been taking ballet sense i was 5 and i'm now 14 so i do have lots of ballet training. this was suppose to be my first year of pointe, but i'm not sure if my new teacher will let me yet. down to the point "e" (lol):
i've had this dream to do ballet compitions sense i was 10 and now that i'm starting with a new ballet teacher i want to discuss this with her. but of course, i'm sure i'll have to proove myself first. i've already told my mom about my dream, but how can i disscuss this with my new teacher? look at my Q&A and find the one i asked about compition ballet for more info on me. if this makes any sense please help me!!!

oh yeah, i live in a small small town that is pretty much forgotten so doing compitions would mean a lot of travel for me, and the closes place that actually has a nice dance studio is like 1 to 1.5 hrs away.
