Question:

What search method should a man use to find a dance partner for a course in ballroom dancing?

Location: Concord, NH. Community Education. Five weekly sessions start Jan 18 2007. Time: 8:30-9:30pm. Tuition free for my partner who ideally likes dance, has good basic dance skills, ear for music and tempo, and is a good match for her partner who is 5'9, 155#. Call office at C.H. School for info.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: You should put your ad on http://dancepartner.com and http://www.ballroomdancers.com This is where you can specify all that, among many other relevant things, like are you a professional or an amateur.
If you are a new pro you might want to connect with NDCA: http://www.ndca.org Join an existing local dance studio as a group class instructor. When students attend group classes some of them inquire about private lessons. Private studios usually give you more flexibility than chains do.
Also - advertise in the good old local newspaper and Yellow Pages. Sounds like you are a pro, since you say call the schools office for info.
In the off-chance that you are an amateur - use the first two websites, also go to all the relevant group classes - this is where your potential partners go as well. If it is appropriate for your level, go to social dances as well - you might meet someone there.
