Am i too late to start taking ballet lessons?

im 14 yrs old, and ive been taking dance lessons (which includes modern, jazz, ballroom dancing, and a bit of ballet) for about a year, but ive always loved ballet and i want to start taking proper ballet lessons. am i too late to start, though, because it always seems that real dancers started their lessons when they were very young

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: You are never too old to take ballet. Now if you are asking whether its too late for a possible career in ballet the answer is maybe. You will have to have TONS of talent, a fantastic teacher, a great school and a lot of determination because competition for female ballet jobs is intense. Good Luck
