Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Being an adult amateur dancer, I obviously go by myself. I do it because I enjoy it. Every time I have to skip (too much work, or due to an injury, or other stupid little stuff) I get slightly upset.

I enjoy the feeling of it - in the dance lesson, my dancing improves and it feels better to dance well. It feels more beautiful, it makes me feel more beautiful. Also, I enjoy the sence of progress.
