I would say you are looking at $30 to $40 price tag for DDR Extreme 2 and definitly $40 for SuperNOVA. My guess your best bet is start check out your local pawn shops. Cheap pads can be found at GameStop, EBGames, WalMart, Fye, BestBuy, etc. starting around $15. However their quality is so limited its only recommend for Basic/Light level players or below. If your gameplay is more advance you will need to get a more durable pad (like a hard foam or metal) around the $80 to $200 price tag.
